I love how the posters here are so relaxed and actually talk about things, even stuff they dislike, in such an awesome way. I hate myself for having stuck to the Steam forum for so long.. The people there are awful to say the least. Anyway, anyone know a really good mod pack that I could use to keep myself entertained while we wait for the official stable update? And whats with this "secret SA goon sub forum" people keep mentioning over on Steam?

Starbound is an amazing game. Far better than the 90% of the games on steam. Hell, it's still on the top 100 most played list. I'm gonna go starbate again.

I'm really excited for the upcoming patch. Mostly because it will shut parts of the community up who turn the steam forums into poo poo for atleast a few days. But there's a couple hate crusaders on there that will bitch about anything.

Ive gotten 200 hours out of starbound. Well worth my money and I will continue to support ChuckleFish because it's an awesome game. risk of rain is also awesome.

Ive come to the conclusion that most of you don't deserve the awesome that is starbound. I think most of you deserve a good starpounding for being terrible posters. But seriously, when the update hits I know the majority of you neckbeards will be elbow deep in the new content for a month and talk about how awesome it is until your thumbs bleed. Then you will complain because mod makers aren't working fast enough and somehow this will be ChuckleFish' fault for not giving you a handy while you play because some diety forbid you play 1 handed for a while.

I'm really liking what's going on with development so far. The idea of dynamic had elements and menu screens is a huge leap above other games as most have static poo poo. I bet the unstable build hits the 20th and then the stable build on the 25th as an awesome Christmas present. But, even if that happens the same shitposters will cause a storm of poo poo puffs because the world wasn't handed to them on a 2gig flash drive or something

Cant wait to fill friends ships with poison though. or lava maybe. one of them. Its kinda the same thing i want to do to most of the people in this thread actually. ... Why would you laugh? The guns are awful. I have yet to find one thats decent. Keep finding lovely ones with super high fire rates which means they will do poo poo damage becuase of how npc armor works.

I can live with that. Almost died with the boss at 0 bars of health because i said "gently caress it" and kept attacking when i should have been healing. The only boss ive been annoyed with though has been the Penguin Pirate ship. It hits really hard and takes so little damage. Half its attacks dont have wind ups of any kind and its just a nuisance. If i had a good gun it probably would have been easier. But shields are the key. I suck at getting the parry, but the shield saved my rear end. edit: The Mech fight was one of the most enjoyable because it allowed you to actually defend yourself effectively, making it a risk/reward kinda fight it you wanted to kill it fast. 2nd edit: So.. i just hit full Impervium gear. Still havnt found anything relating to ship upgrades. Also just maxed out my Matter Manipulator. ... Then im pretty sure either my character got hosed up somehow or they botched something becuase i did every outpost quest. Im sure some of those modders will come back pretty soon. Kinda surprises me that the functionality for extra races wasnt baked into the standard ui already. But CF is busy working on things, so it may happen eventually.
