Prove Benoit killed his family and Kevin Sullivan didnt have a plan for Chris and his family. Sullivan is a known Satanist. If you think Benoit did what he did(if) in a clear mind you are completely stupid. Steroids + Head shots nightly for years upon years will mentally destroy you and you wont be the same. But thats assuming he did it which I dont think he did.

People are quick to judge but dont think.

This is a really popular meme among the anti-AEW crowd. None of the shows are "real" sell-outs because you can find tickets on the secondary market.

Of course, if we apply this same approach to WWE and Impact Wrestling shows, something very interesting happens.

It's funny people give Corbin credit for "getting heat" when he was a heel GM unavoidably all over the show, and constantly going over faces in boring matches where he was the weak link. You could take any generic oaf and put him out there every week, let him talk on the mic for 10 minutes about how local sports team bad and town residents fat, and then have him pin a fan favorite and he will also get consistently booed. It won't draw any additional money, but the people that paid to see the show will react with boos when they see generic oaf heel so that is somehow proof the heel is succeeding in his role.

I'd also want to see the overlap of Baron Corbin superfans and people that thought Jinder's reign was a great success.

The Venn diagram is a circle, and it's made up entirely of that guy someone posted a few months ago who said Crown Jewel was the sole reason women in Saudi Arabia were allowed to have driver's licenses.

Undertaker was loving magnificent in the ring during a surprisingly late period in his career. He was abysmal in his earlier days but had the mystique to cover for it, then he got better but also did a lot of really bad promos and suffered from being on television every week. Then he hit the golden spot where he wasn't around that much and whenever he did show up he had an incredible match. Then he got real old, real broken down, couldn't really go in the ring anymore and it just got sad. Plus he got more outspoken about his personal views which turned out to be pretty loving horrible, which also took away a ton of the goodwill he had built up over the decades.

There's a lot of guys who have been on the WWE payroll who could have been just as good or better if they knew they'd be making main roster money to save their bodies for two thirty minute matches a year.

Like most of the points raised in this discussion, that's really just another case for getting rid of the MitB rather than an argument against faces cashing in.

wtf is "hotshotting" in this context? I only know the term as being a type of emergency courier.

It's a desperation booking move, usually in the context of giving away a big match or big debut without any buildup in an attempt to stir up a short term ratings or interest boost.

A good example would be WWE throwing out the card for Raw and going with a Lashley/Orton title match because WWE beat them in the key demo last week.

An even better example would be that time WWE tried to book Lesnar to beat Austin in the opening round of the 2002 King of the Ring tournament.

AEW is bad because it has no stories but also too many stories. AEW has no stars but also too many stars. AEW doesn't have good matches but is burning out the crowd by giving away too many good matches.
