google adds the silly "no 3rd party extensions" policy into chrome, disabling all user added extensions, yet crazy adware that turns every other word into a link can still be silently injected
you can even uninstall or change options in them directly from the extensions page
why is this allowed

how can one company be so fail

3rd party extensions are perfectly fine, they just dont let you add in extensions that you download from god knows where

I just finished getting my haircut and was thinking of going to ALDIs to get some sandwich meat - my phone already has an active card telling me directions and 15 minutes to the store. Google ftw

its not very good at voice recognition though, its pretty easy to get other peoples phones to activate using your voice, or it will start searching for stuff when it hears the tv

I've only seen it happen a handful of times, there doesn't seem to be any consistency to it

actually there is, heres two searches i just did

obviously its picked up on the keyword "pictures" and figured i want the image results closer, and the same thing with the word "buy" prompting the shopping results tos how up closer

even without those keywords it will still be trying to guess what you want and adapt to it, and it obviously can gently caress up

the problem is you may search "dildos" and it'll be search/shopping/images and then you'll search "anal plugs" and it'll be search/images/shopping. that's the inconsistency

im assuming its based on a fuckton of farmed user actions, ie when the majority of people search dildos they are trying to buy them vs when people search anal plug they typically arnet shopping for them, but looking for info/images or w/e

maybe if we were looking at routers with very similar performance, but in this case the difference in speeds is so incredible that the small variances caused by the network aren't significant.

also its good for real world testing since who knows what else goog is doing inside that router in terms of dns or proxying or w/e else that you might not get in a closed test environment.

theres no way the router is as bad as those lovely tests show

it doesnt matter what router it is
