No I don't live under a rock but I don't listen to radio (only Spotify) or watch real TV (only Netflix) or read news papers (only follow some news blogs). Also I don't live in the US. I listened to it on Spotify today though and it was ok but if you'd told me it won a ton of awards I'd wonder why but I don't know a thing about what makes a musical worth $1000+ to watch once so maybe I'm not the target audience. However, you not living in the US explains everything.

At some conference a bunch of concealed carry advocates organised several runs of simulated attacks (with paintballs or airsoft or something like that) in the same vein against a partially armed group of attendees. And despite knowing it was coming (the attackers were even instructed to "make a loud noise" at the moment they entered the building), they still got murdered every single time. The best they managed was killing one of the two attackers one time.

You don't really need 16 minutes and a potato to explain the concept, and they didn't even get into the interesting parts of all of this, like how the loopholes that allow this to happen weren't accidents, they were actively lobbied for and legislated, or how all countries are trying to make sweetheart deals with their tax laws to draw in business that never physically comes in a ludicrous massive prisoners' dilemma.

Kavanaugh took a long time to answer “drinking game” for Devil’s Triangle which implies lying. Also he said boofing is farting but obviously nobody would write in their yearbook, “Have you farted yet?” And “Renate alumnus” is clearly sexual since Renate herself was offended when she found out about it. If it was just some indication of friendship, which grammatically and logically doesn’t make sense, then she wouldn’t be upset. We have a SCOTUS judge who is a likely sexual assaulter and definite alcoholic who perjured himself but Republicans overlooked it and Democrats were unable to exploit as usual because reality is the darkest timeline.
