I love my Solo Stove Bonfire. Recently picked up a shield so when I go car camping I further reduce the chance of sparks flying out to start inadvertent fires.

I had a tree cut down in my back yard by a neighbor and I asked them to chop things to fit my Solo Stove Bonfire. I also have a Milwaukie reciprocating saw I use to trim branches down to size too.

I too love Oakleys & Ray Bans so I'm not against spending for them. I got the adult McDonald's Happy Meals and ended up with a Waffutu.

Work got some old computers from a partner company so I snagged a free 16" 2019 MacBook pro. Had the battery, logic board, & track pad replaced for $249. Apparently the new MacBook Pro's need USB-C chargers so I grabbed this (which can also charge my various other devices). Sleeve to hold said MacBook Pro.

H110Hawk posted:You probably need a bigger charger. If I recall correctly those Intel ones need a like 100w of charging all to themselves. Something to look at if you haven't gotten it in the mail yet. Oh okay I'll grab a dedicated one then.

Not a purchase per se as insurance is covering this but a new ResMed AirSense 10. I'm actually excited for the new mask as it's more minimalist and the hose connects to the top of my head, which makes it a little nicer since I'm a belly sleeper.

I had that model Anova but then gave it to my sister & her husband as a Christmas gift, as I "upgraded" to a Vesta sous vide system as it was WiFi-compatible. In retrospect I wish I kept it. I'll probably get the higher end Anova in the future.

Sous vide allows you to do this: Had this lamb shoulder cooked at 134°F for about 40 hours. I should note the day before I did smoke it too (hence the nice smoke ring seen). I prefer smoking before sous vide as IMO the smoke flavors seem to be more intense & thoroughly infused through the food.

Warbird posted:You have my attention. So are you hitting it for a few hours and pulling out before/during the stall and just letting the SZ take it up to 200 or whatever for however long as it takes? That looks real nice but good god that bark. More or less. Smoked until I hit an internal temp of 145°F (when the stall usually happens), then put in a sous vide bag with some ancho & guajillo chilis before chilling in the fridge overnight. Saturday morning the lamb went into a 135°F sous vide for 40 hours, so that it was ready Sunday. When it came out of the bag I did a quick sear in a 500°F oven to get a nice crust while making a pan sauce with the drippings, the Malbec we drank with the meal, and some butter.
