What the hell does cultural marxism even mean? It seems to just be a buzz word that gets thrown around to say "I do not like [thing]".

I was playing cards against humanity with a group of friends a couple months ago and one of the cards was about "The Friend zone" we all had a good laugh, until one woman asked what it meant. 90% of the room being women/aware human beings explained it. I've heard women claim it's an actual thing. Categorizing dudes into small "friends" "not friends" "potential lovers" compartments in their minds. Apparently the friend zone is when you know a dude is crushing on you but you still keep him around as a friend for favors?

I mean I was under the misguided impression that men and women can be friends without there being anything vaguely sexual or romantic involved and that spending time with people whose company you enjoy is enough in and of itself. But then again I haven't taken the "Red Pill" so When I help a dudebro out with his studies, I'm a friend, but when I do the same to a girl, she's taking advantage of me and I'm totally friendzoned, bro. I can understand this sentiment amongst dudes that have the feeling girls are taking advantage of their feelings but hearing it from the mouth of a girl was a verbal slap to the proverbial face.

Violence against someone is okay or even funny if the victim looks like they might be stronger than the aggressor?

As a European, can somebody please quickly explain what the Hobby Lobby is and what the hell is going on? From what little I gathered from this and the crazy political emails thread, it seems like the feds want companies to offer insurance for birth control to their employees or whatever, parallel to other health insurance? And the employers refuse this on religious grounds? I have no idea how insurance works in the USA for that matter. Do employers have to offer insurance? Are they the only ones who have to? The only ones who can? I'm so confused by the whole ordeal because to me it just seems so natural for health care to be subsidized by the government without really involving employers all that much.

Women as well, oddly enough. I know a surprising amount of guys who had drunk sex with a sober woman and everyone claimed it was A-okay, even though those guys clearly felt violated. People in general need to be taught that rape isn't only committed by strangers in an alley at gunpoint. Fake edit: reminds me of a poll I took about crime at my campus. One of the statements amounted to "I have never raped somebody" which almost everyone gave the highest score of agreement on, and then it was followed by a bunch of statements that pretty clearly implied rape (e.g. I have never had sex with a drunk person" or "I believe it is okay for a person to force their partner to have sex with them if they have been dating for a long time") and the results differed. Anything with limited liability is a (fictive) person for the purpose of handling how they acquire and sell goods and services, and to make a distinction between their interests and their shareholders' personal interests. Of course this should be limited to things that make sense, not giving them a religion or anything. I don't understand how anyone could think of corporate entities as anything other than legal fictions for the purpose of regulating economic agents but there you have it. The "taxation is theft" argument always confused me any way. Why are people so against their own interests? The USA is the only place where I've seen poor people complain about rich people having to pay taxes.
