Mario 3-D World is an incredible game. I very strongly recommend it.

This is relevant as I have never played either of the Galaxies.

They're good, but very different from the other Marios, either 2-d or 3-d. Much less of a focus on momentum and speed. They can also be very difficult especially if you go for 100 percent. I like the shake controls there better than any other Wii game though.
