That Nurgle Pred is rad because it reminds me of this:

Dammit Raging Heroes, you almost made a good model but then you chained some nekkid ladies to it:

On a related furry note, I just realised that these guys 'Cyber Animals' are essentially just Battle Beasts: http://warhansa.com/index.php/katalog/cyber_animals.html

Not sure if they belong in this thread or not...

Don't forget that GW also went mental and started other spurious lawsuits like claiming sole ownership over the term 'Space Marine' which resulted in them attempting a C&D against a sci fi book called 'Spots the Space Marine'. That went against them and in true Streissand effect fashion sales of the book soared.

It must also be stated for the record that Chapterhouse didn't get away completely scot-free as a number of their models were judged to infringe on GW's IP. Something like 25% of GW's claims were successful iirc.

That old Space Marine commander set is pretty drat awesome as it has a ton of extra bits you can distribute throughout your army to make unique sergeants, command squads, etc. Definitely worth picking up if you want to pimp out your army.

New one is horrifically overpriced even by GW standards, don't get it. Note it's 'only' £18 not £24 as stated earlier. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Space-Marine-Captain

If it 'helps', the only human is the middle one. The other two are sexbots and can have things like rubber spines. Those probably aren't clothes, just part of the design.

(OK they're technically not 'sexbots' but they are humaniform androids with AIs, 'Chee' in universe)

Oh goddamnit, I think that's a reference to an old anime about a guy and his robot girlfriend, which isn't too surprising considering the rest of infinity.

'Chi' from Chobits. In the future boys will be boys and girls will be robots.

It's possibly a coincidence but most likely a reference.

Though to be fair the 'Chee' term is used for all AI driven robot things including adorable Bonaparte-Esque mini tanks and not just sexbots.

I get why some of these companies make alternative versions of figures with a slightly different aesthetic (or with tits in some cases) but I dunno why these guys are almost literally just ripping off GW's latest releases.

Well let's hope it results in women being represented equally. If it stops at a handful of female characters then there's no real change. Sisters as a faction without boob armor would be another step up, but again not necessarily addressing one of the larger problems (women CAN'T be marines).
