"So we saw how much money Raging Heroes earned and wanted to get in on a slice of pie as well. Except we are going even further."

Good grief that's just terrible. At least Raging Heroes have a whole bunch of decently clothed models in their sci-fi line up while this seems to have zero.

A lot of the minis are dodgy as gently caress in content and the blatant pandering that underpins their entire business plan for the line betray the cynicism with which they developed the product, but the RH heroes TGG sculpts are generally very well made in a technical sense.

Also I have to admit the Tank Girl vibe of the Jailbird faction is pretty cool, it's just so obviously created from an antithetical point of view to the comic that it's hard to justify supporting the company.

It actually is, I just went to see how cheap they'd be and there's a pack of 8 2x2 ones for £20 which gives you a board pretty easy. All you'd have to do is spray it down or something and maybe flock it up or you could go dramatic and build modular pre-sculpted boards.

Someone, I think in the terrain thread, tried this and it didn't work as well as they hoped. The toothed joining bits were problematic when flocked/textured or something like that.

I really like the front of that mini. The vehicle itself and the operators are awesome - like a cartoony version of an XCOM2 baddie.

The... stuff up top is just bizarre. Surely it would be possible to assemble it without that.

4) the only source is reminded to be strictly non-canonical and not even a star wars thing

I didn't get it, I made it.
The basic metal Artemis 54mm Space Marine model from the old Inquisitor range just requires that you hack apart the legs (much like reposing a 28mm plastic space marine leg component, but with more hacksawing) and then a lot of greenstuff and some plasticard for the sword. Oh yeah, some chain from a hobby store for his belt. Leftover sprue for the hilt, and the holsters (wrap them with GS and it looks the same).
The fun bit is that I've never worked with GS on this scale before, or plasticard pretty much ever before.

They're character models based on a comic, so I don't care that much. ...and I haven't played infinity in two months.

I'm more irritated by the fact that the new Riot Grils still have batnipples than the combat stripper. I'd run her as a bounty hunter. Sforza looks way better, but I dislike Named Characters.

ED: Also, the God-drat TechBees are all you need to bitch about regular Infinity releases IMO.

I give them a sort of pass because these are based on a comic, but of course they should be choosing better stuff if they are going to do comic book tie-ins.

I bought the non-titty Tau minis from this company and they are excellent. Really great sculpting quality, cool minis with loads of character. They are going to be use in Shadow War or as Tau pathfinder/fire warrior unit leaders.

It's a shame the female ones are so bad, and I fully agree that the site as a whole has some of the worst examples I've ever seen.

I’m sure that GW ruin diorama would have been just fine if that one redshirt skellie wasn’t chained to the table. A meta joke about a GW store on the battlefield is one thing but implying the company enslaves its workers is unsurprisingly going to be unacceptable.
