That reminds me of how the Puckle Gun, a early 18th century proto-machine gun that never saw any action but could theoretically fire as many as 9 rounds per minute, was designed to be able to fire square bullets as well as conventional round bullets. In Iceland you not only need to keep your guns in a locked locker but you need to store the ammo separately in another separate locked storage. I've also heard that you can't keep the key to your gunlocker and need to have someone else hold it when you aren't hunting or shooting for sport but skimming the weapons laws I can't find a mention of that. Also you can't actually own or operate a gun without a license which requires having a clean criminal record, reading a book on gun safety and going through a seminar on responsible gun handling with a test at the end, and training on how to use a gun
