His side-B kills, his up tilt is a spike if you hit someone who's recovering, his aerials are awesome. His up air chains into I think both the knee and the stomp.

Basically it forces your opponent to play this really weird spacing game where they have to be far enough away to stay out of its range but close enough to where you can't just shadow ball them with impunity.

Ryu is possibly one of the best characters in the game. He's got like a billion kill options. Also there's this, which I've done in matches a few times already. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZanlIrkP6w Focus attack is a really good tool for getting in your kill setups. The fact that he's got attacks that care about button press length is pretty cool too. He's got more attacks than anyone else, which is pretty neat since it means you have a lot more options available to you.

Mewtwo is completely different (his moves visually look similar, mostly, but he's so much better) and I think Roy is too.
