It was one of the first games I played on our BRAND NEW PACKARD-BELL WINDOWS 95 COMPATIBLE PC!!! It's also the first time I used a non DOS based system. It was new and exciting. I still have the computer, and would like to get it running since it's the easiest way to get games like Resident Evil 1 and a poo poo ton of old DOS games to work. Got a Sound Blaster Pro and a Voodoo 3 in there.

A Packard-Bell PC with Windows 95 was our first family computer. I spent probably way too much of my childhood playing Hover, trying & failing to beat Journeyman Project Turbo, and messing around with MIDI Orchestrator. :unsmith:

Is there anyone who lived through the '90s who can't recite this entire commercial from memory?

All my grunge/alt friends and I had massive crushes on Daniel Johns. He has aged like milk on a counter though (which I guess is what happens when you struggle with drugs & eating disorders over several years :smith: ).

Man, I miss music video channels.

The Box was loving amazing. My uncle had a bunch of VHS tapes with nothing but Box videos on them, and they were great.

A quick sampling of videos I only know from The Box:

The only thing I remember about Mad About You is the theme song. It was catchy.

I very much remember girls playing with their Tamagochi in class.

I was so serious about mine. I had like five, and I always named them after my crushes. I would use empty Altoid tins as "beds" for them. Ridiculous.
