there is a need for them to Do Labor now because the expansion of the non-productive "working" class is a tool of the bourgeoisie to erode the unity and strength of the proletariat and expand their influence beyond controlling the means of production to controlling the workers through co-option

refusing to acknowledge that there is always Labor To Do is a failure of objectivity and reason, not of a lack of labor to go around

if you fear the future where Doing Labor regains its supremacy, there will always be menial jobs such as programming, however the compensation would be commensurate to the level of Labor involved

a programmer would not starve, and that is adequate

automation/robotization is a long-sought dream by the bourgeoisie to smash the power of the worker while not replacing them entirely

it merely serves to further marginalize and oppress the proletariat and consolidate control of the means of production

my money is on the worst sexism being directed toward carly but the funniest being directed toward hilary

look at what happened to sarah palin and then multiply it by ten since carly will be a presidential candidate

sarah palin was dumb and proud of it -- i'm sure that's why she got harsher criticism. fiorina is a terrible person, but she can probably name a few newspapers or magazines

i'm sure a large component of it was because she was a woman

remember how a whoooooole lot of democrats were fixated on her children and the persistent rumor that her kid with downs syndrome was secretly her daughter's that she adopted to avoid scandal? or how everyone laughed at her when she had the temerity to buy clothes with her family? or how every single gaffe she made was pounced upon and derided in the media, whereas everyone just chuckled at ol' diamond joe and cheered him on whenever he said something stupid or condescending? or how in the immediate aftermath of the announcement of being selected as mccain's running mate, there were discussions about how hot she was?

hatred toward hilary has long since moved beyond plain ol' sexism, but it is still there, however there are vast, untapped wells that the democrats are waiting to dip into when carly officially runs

LF had a "the governor of alaska is kind of a milf" years before palin looked at veep, you dumb motherfucker

yes, i'm aware and that proves my point

it was resurrected when palin was chosen, and the media ultimately did the same thing discussing about her attractiveness even before a hint of discussion about her policies

she went from being the governor of alaska (who was attractive) to being a vice presidential candidate (who was attractive)

when the narrative about her attractiveness wasn't enough, it shifted to how the silly, silly woman was out of her depth, unlike suave (but flawed) joe biden

ah, so she was chosen strictly because she was a woman, policies are irrelevant

whatever it was they were huffing, it paid off in spades because it really exposed to the average voter that democrats can be just as sexist as republicans, if not moreso

so 2016 is going to be a cavalcade of oblivious sexism and i stand by my assertion that the democrats will the most sexist, while the republicans will produce the most absurd sexism

that was one of the big reasons why i quit the tech "industry" and now Do Labor

the fact that people freely admit that they don't actually do any work and charge ridiculous amounts of money for it, and it continues to happen is utterly insane, especially since what little effort they put forth doesn't actually produce anything

if you have an actual job where you are supposed to Do Labor, and you don't Do Labor, you don't have that job any more

though there will probably be some lovely sexism coming from the dems now that she has a (male) challenger in bernie sanders
