I played a lot of Snake Rattle 'n Roll as a kid, trying to land accurate jumps in that game's "3D environment" was hell.

Some games are simply more interesting if you know the game yourself. As someone who knows Silent Hill this run was cool, but since I haven't played that particular Fire Emblem I can't get as much out of it. Also it was super early in Europe when that FE run started.

Back in the day when I was younger and open world games weren't really a thing, me and my friend could spend a lot of time just looking at the cool-sounding places on the map that shipped with the game. The gameplay hasn't really held up but it still has the most interesting locale in the series.

They probably should've increased the brightness a bit. E: And a crash  Not that it's terribly surprising since this is an unpatched version on top of being a Bethesda game.

Herodotus taking longer than the rest of the game combined. I recall having the most trouble with Ponce de Leon though, so much crap to look out for in that fight.

No Rebirth is definitely a curious choice since they're playing a race, considering it pretty much removes luck from the equation.

Either good commentary or a fair race are kind of necessary to make this entertaining but without either it's not particularly interesting. Shame too since BoI and especially Rebirth is a really fun game.

Also I'm pretty sure there's an as of yet unreleased character that combines all the flaws, meaning instant death from picking up gold in addition to instant death from enemies and instant death from one missed beat while you're stuck with the starting dagger. Conga line too strong This game is harder to play than it looks because you don't have any time to pause and think like in normal roguelikes (unless you play Bard). You have to be constantly reacting and it's extremely easy to accidentally make mistakes. You can't even stand still without a certain item.

Cool thing about that chess boss is that it follows real chess rules, for example if the pawns hit the bottom row they become queen enemies instead.
