Blair Witch 2 reaches a Showgirls-level of utter insanity and has to be seen to be believed.

I'd say pick it up on DVD because the commentary track that details the studio hell that the film went through is essential to the Blair Witch 2 experience.

I think the greatest compliment you could give to the Robocop remake is that it's amazing how inoffensive it came out, because it certainly had the opportunity to gently caress up so much harder than it did.

Gonna cap off the night with Jan Svankmajer's Alice. Man, this HD print is haaaaaaaaandsome.

I have always insisted that Heath Ledger is doing the world's greatest Paul Giamatti impression in The Dark Knight, to the point that it's ruined the entire movie for me now.

I remember rolling into a drive-in with my family at age 7 with my mom and we saw a double bill of Die Hard and Big. They showed Big second, even as a kid I thought that was a poor choice.

Also: I fully support the idea of a double bill of Halloween III followed by Halloween III. But I love Halloween III.

Its almost bitter-sweet to watch it because I get annoyed that the movie-going public didn't reward the creativity of Halloween III and forced the studio to bring Michael Myers back.
I went to a 35mm screening a year back in October to a sold out audience and that felt good.

When the audience went from chuckling throughout to dead, horrified silence after the kid puts on the mask, that was loving magical.

I'm not a big autograph guy, but there are exceptions. One time I took a bunch of acid, met Crispin Glover at a film screening and told him a story about how earlier in the day I had accidentally set my kitchen on fire, lost my cat when I opened the door to let all the smoke out and then spent hours searching and found her mewling under a tree in the rain.
