Could someone clarify what the hell is actually happening because it seems like every week there's a different group making another announcement to build *something* in a different place for a different team. Like what has actually been verified?

Davis' biggest mistakes the last several years of his life were his coaches. He made some pretty terrible choices, starting with his decision to fire Gruden. Bill Callahan Norv Turner Art Shell Lane Kiffen Tom Cable Hue Jackson Really, since 1995, the Raiders haven't had a coach last longer than three years.

Thankfully we know Al Davis was above that.

Volkerball posted:The Pats didn't win because of scoring defense, they won because the secondary loving murdered people. Their offense wasn't even close to comparable to the Raiders. The defense killed all Warners receivers. Credit where it's due, they shut that poo poo down. Yeah they played the receivers hard. But mostly the Patriots took Marshall Faulk away and said beat us down the field, and Mike Martz said no I want to beat you with Faulk and proceeded to lose a Super Bowl.

Like when the Chiefs tried to get Peyton Manning to visit and he practically laughed at them as he flew over KC on the way to Denver. Stuff like this doesn't matter. Most NFL players do not even live in the state that they play.

sam bradford lmao posted:The problem with Spirit is that they carry the guise of a budget airline but will price gouge the gently caress out of you once they've got you on the hook. One time my dad bought a round-trip ticket from Denver to Chicago for insanely cheap. I don't remember the exact details but they ended up charging him extra for not only a carry-on bag but for the privilege of using an overhead bin. All of this is very clearly spelled out when you are buying tickets from Spirit and if you don't plan ahead and print your own boarding ticket and pre-pay for your baggage you are kind of a dummy.
