Today I saw a carrier player bitching at the rest of us for not rushing to save him because he sat on his rear end at spawn and never paid attention to all those incoming enemy cruisers. We won the match just fine without him.

Dear Fusou player and Mutsuki player I sank on North today: how on earth do you get to tier six without figuring out that evading torpedoes, or at least changing your course after you get torpedoed the first time, is kind of important?  This was using a Minekaze with the A hull, stock 7km torps and a captain who hadn't finished retraining.

I once saw a stick of dive bombers take a poo poo on my Kuma. Knocked out a torpedo launcher for five seconds and did zero damage to the hull.

I just had the best round ever. Not because of anything I did, but because matchmaking put a Murmansk on the other side and a Clemson on his own team went "WALLET WARRIOR DETECTED" and torpedoed him at the start of the round. Then the Clemson got TK'd by someone else, I defended our point, and we won.

I really wish this game had more varied PvE options. Sometimes I just want to blow ships up and not have hysterical people screaming at me in the chat because I'm not doing things the One True Way.

It's amazing how many carrier players still don't understand the importance of not sitting at spawn. Or the fact that a carrier with no planes can still cap points, be a distraction, or otherwise contribute to a team effort.

I don't know what happened to the matchmaking, but now I'm repeatedly seeing tier IV and even III ships thrown into games with multiple tier VIIs. No grouping involved. Also I'm pretty sure I had two consecutive games with the same Nagato player who sat at spawn doing absolutely gently caress all until enemy TBs found him halfway through the match, at which point he lumbered off in the opposite direction from the point that needed defending.

Welp, just saw the most amazing shithead. I was in a BB, slugging it out at close range with another BB (and winning) when I noticed this friendly Omaha come sailing straight towards us without firing a shot. Not only did he sneak in to steal my kill, he did it by firing a literally point blank torpedo spread that was aimed directly at me and would have sunk my boat if any one of them missed the target. By some miracle I survived and we won the round, but gently caress that guy.

Today I saw a pair of Hashidates get convoyed into a game that was 50% tier VIII ships. Both of them were immediately teamkilled and then some jerkoff in a New York had a full on rage meltdown as we capped their point.
