thom york: yeah i have their songs, theyre on the computer i fashioned together. i listen to their songs after a studio sesh as e a palette cleanser. one time i wore a beard and went out to a museum, no one recognized me anyway but then if i dont have the beard i cant act like im NOT in disguise you know? so out of nowhere this guy at the museum asks me if i like music and he didnt recognize me so i asked him if he liked radio head. he said yeah of course and he looked a little unimpressed like, who is this guy? he said he also liked muse and that we were the same thing so i said yeah were basically the same thing, he didnt know what i meant because he didnt recognize me. i like parachutes its really good

If you take all the emotion and artistry out of radiohead and make a bland industry model of the music you would have something that sounds a lot like Coldplay. Stuff like that is dangerous, its like styrofoam packing peanuts for the intellect, just taking up headspace, making people feel as though they are nurturing themselves intellectually, but really they are filling their heads with meaningless fluff and embarking on a transhumanistic voyage to become muppets stuffed with claptrap spacefiller.
