Nah Escapist isn't full gamergate, Macris is actually really sincere in his opposition to nefarious "cultural marxists" and their plot to rule the world, and he also recognizes how embarrassing gamers have been to his cause, which is why he stopped all coverage and basically all mention of it there a long time ago.
