Then we got it translated again, and they were doing it only so they could get a new editor. It took a long-rear end time for it to show up for real at all.

That is A Lot Of Crews!!! I wonder if there's something weird with the translation, because Kabru making the statement that "those two are not good, honest people" after explaining that they had been duped into giving people who they thought were injured or otherwise infirm free cash is kind of weird. Or Kabru thought they were in on it or something, but that doesn't come across at all.

There's some wonderful touches in it, like how Laius tries every piece of the mushroom, while Marcille at the end only grabs a single piece and the rest were all the other veggies.

Don't sleep on Bakarina, by the way, it's extremely fun. The main character is an incredibly oblivious sweetheart, and it's pretty funny at times.

The manga has the upside of overall ignoring the dumb side plots of the LN and focusing pretty much entirely on our spider protagonist, who is far-and-away the best part of it to start with. It's behind but you get a better experience from it overall anyway.
