Turn A trip report on the first two episodes: I'm liking the setting and the level of technology on Earth. Character designs are also really good! Loran is a boy that really likes to get naked though, he should stop that. The moon is a bunch of jerks.

I'm not enough of an expert to tell if the translation is really good, but I felt like it was fine enough. The menu is just an episode list with the option to watch a clean OP and ED, but I didn't expect much in features for an older series. The video quality is good, I was watching it on a projector and it looked about as good as a DVD master is probably gonna look. The discs themselves have really cool art on them that I'll probably try to snap a pic of later.

Loran has been pretty much naked for four in four episodes. I'm counting the undie scene with Keith. Literally right after his boss' funeral. I am also very happy that people insist on referring to the Turn A as "the mustached mobile suit."

I had a really dumb Gundam idea at work. An otome game based on GBF, where the different routes are different Gundam protagonists as Gunpla fighters. The Setsuna route features a tense love triangle between you, him, and Gundam, which is very hard to overcome.

I'd write Loran's route as a Princess Kaguya story, where there's always something off about him, but it turns out he's from the moon and he has to go back, and you have to be "No, baby, I love you too much, gently caress the moon!" Also you have to keep him from gettin so naked.

I also appreciated the mini-Cake Boss episode with Keith making the cake for the party. I also appreciated that Dianna's response to being told that war might be imminent was "Let's not have a war, let's have a party," and that that party was also basically a middle school dance with the boys on one side of the gym and the girls on the other.
