Eh. Depends on a bunch of things. Usually it just adds the 'fleeing the scene of an accident' charge on there, but it also can be a sign of bad faith. Often drunk drivers will flee because the charge added on is less than the drunk driving charges. Of course if you're a celebrity and nobody really got hurt, it doesn't really affect anything.

A small town near me put up a parklet in one parking space along their incredibly quiet main street for 3 days. It has barricades and some astroturf and a few chairs. Please.... more adult only spaces. Can't even enjoy an ice cream cone on the street without annoying toddlers running around. So personally we can't stand this pop up park. Aesthetically unpleasing.
