Telegraph readers aren’t overly fond of it either. The boomer Tory readership are overwhelmingly pro-being unaffected by all of this provided the shops are open and well actually social distancing means the pubs aren't full of “yobs” so “normal people” can go in them now.

At times like this I remember that piers Morgan hates Meghan and Harry because he was creepy stalking her when he had his show in America and kept inviting her on to it via her producers so she had no choice. Then he met her at a charity event and asked her out on a date, she freaked out and ran away from him and that was how she met Harry.

So when he says “we used to be friends” translate that to “#metoo”

Literally yes.

It’s also a fundamental misunderstanding of the telegraph readers actually believe by the owners/editors, , which is that they believe that the scientists are right but that it should all be left up to personal choice - the anger from Tory little England is at Boris for being “weak”.

It’s daily mail readers who think sage make laws

Has anyone ever seen two older people in the back seat of a car on a motorway?

What his frame of reference here, with the lack of lorries, is cars queueing for the ferry in Dover in the late 1980s, which is presumably the last time he left the cotswolds.

It’s important to note that Morgan used his influence to repeatedly get Meghan on his US chat show to promote Suits and then started making like they were actual friends to people.

Then there was a big charity ball she was at and he approached her and asked her out on a date, she turned him down, he got angry and she fled from a man who was now very clearly a creepy stalker into the next room where she met Prince Harry.

And here we are with Morgan and the gutter press acting like batshit insane stalker incels because a young woman turned down a creepy old man who felt he was entitled to own her because he was slightly famous.

One of the main reasons for the first one is the second one btw.

Wards and wards full of old people who *rightly* can’t and won’t be sent back to their own home because social services can’t guarantee a basic standard of care if they go back and it’s on the person who discharges them if something happens to them, so they wait for months or even years in hospital before a nursing home place is found.

there is no such thing as a learning difficulty. There is however such a thing as severe Learning disability. I lost track of the stats but it's something like 75% of children who have died from covid have had a severe learning disability.
