Sephiroth_IRA posted:Oracle of Ages/Seasons got me through many a long car trip. I think I remember Ages being the harder of the two. The funny thing is, even though it comes across as a Pokemon Red/Blue style presentation, the two games play completely differently. I never played seasons (only watched another person play it), but Ages was awesome, and the most fun I've had with a Zelda besides Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

Specifically, the Overworld felt very labyrinth and puzzle like with the time changing element, and it got ball-bustingly hard for the last few dungeons where it took hours to figure out where to go. Heck, I remember the second t last level taking DAYS for me to figure out.

Reds posted:That's a pretty bad example, that would imply they're the same with minor differences. Oracle is more puzzle focused, Seasons is more action-oriented. I like Ages more than Seasons in pretty much all areas, though. Um...that's what I said? I like Ages a ton more, too! As a kid, it being a lot more puzzle oriented appealed to me in a way OoT didn't, (and no doubt Seasons wouldn't have been as fun for me, either).
