:itshappening: They're saying a bunch of vehicles just rolled in. "Wake up! Get your gun!" e: or that's just an old recording? These guys are gonna be stuck there for days until they kill themselves accidentally or something.

It hurts my brain how dumb these people are, that they can't grasp things like: -If the FBI just wanted to kill them they'd be dead days ago -They have two options: walk out without guns and be apprehended, or point a gun at a law enforcement officer and get shot -Ok there is a third option: wait around some more becoming increasingly unhinged from lack of sleep and proper food. But that's just delaying choosing one of the first two options -There is no fourth option of "take a mulligan on this whole thing and go home with no one getting arrested" -No seriously that is not an option, why do you think that is an option They seem to think they have some kind of leverage here and it's baffling.

Yeeahh if Fiore was flipped by the FBI she'd be telling them to come out without weapons, not trying to get them to wait until she comes to lead them out. If she's in communication with the FBI she's messing it up badly.

At this point the FBI is just trying to figure out how separate these idiots from their guns without letting them hurt themselves. Like if they lobbed a teargas grenade in right now, probably at least two of them would die with no shots fired by the FBI.

Did Cliven has people planning to meet him and his goons to give them guns once they got off the plane? Or did they have guns in their checked baggage or something? I can't imagine he was planning to show up without guns.

Lots of people are confusing Michelle Fiore and Krisanne Hall. Fiore is the Nevada state representative who was on the phone with the Final Four last night, and was promising to come meet them so they could all walk out with her and give her a good photo op being the hero. She apparently actually got to the barricades today but we didn't hear much of anything from her after that. Krisanne Hall is some crazy christian lady who was on the line with them today and who was really bad at doing anything but inadvertently fanning the flames and almost getting them killed. As crazy a gun-nut loony as Fiore is, she actually was pretty good at talking them down from the ledge of doing something really dumb. Hall, not so much.

The next substantial question to be litigated is exactly what Heller meant when it said that handguns were not ba able because of how common they were. The NRA crowd has taken this as an indication they need to make AR-15s as common as possible to protect them under the same reasoning. The fourth circuit recently bought that argument and struck down an assault weapon ban. I hope these pictures are fresh in the minds of the next judge to take this question up. lol preschoolers getting gunned down didn't result in any action on gun laws and you think this will?
