Pierson posted:When you start the game there's some DLC items in your item chest (these ones). All of them drop within the game and at merchants regularly. The Ruminator's Monocle is entirely cosmetic and sells for 300,000g which will take care of your money worries in the early game. I know that's how it was before, but what I've read seems to say that you won't be given anything now, it's all stuff you can buy from the black cat once you get to gran soren.

I had that moment watching a friend play. He picked up a goblin and threw it over a cliff and one of the goblin's goblin friends came over, picked him up, and threw him over the side after him.

Cialis Railman posted:The PC controls are OK. I'm playing as a strider right now. Being able to use the mouse to aim is a godsend, and the quick access keys are useful as hell (Even though you can only map your lantern and curatives to them for some reason.) The only problem I have is that the primary/secondary skill buttons are mapped to lctrl and lalt by default, and that takes some getting used to. The bow toggle is pretty weird, too. Rebind secondary skill toggle to caps lock, because why the gently caress would you ever need to have walk/run toggle on anything but / on the numpad. Also if you see Fetish in the pawns be aware that crates killed her parents and she will break god drat everything. Ignimbrite posted:I just found the everfall and I'm assuming it's not something you're meant to do as soon as you get to Gran Soren because these zombie are literal walls of HP Make sure to update your weapons and bring a mage with a fire enchant spell, otherwise yeah it'll take a long time. Also if you rushed to gran soren it might be best to go do other stuff until you're like high teens low twenties to do it.

Geomancing posted:There are two places I always go for first on a Golem. The foot, and the palm of the right hand. Sometimes it's a massive pain in the rear end to get positioned to get that second one, and it's impossible while the golem is in its 'gently caress everything' mode. The golem berserk doesn't last forever. If the disc is in a bad spot you can just back off and wait for it to slow down again.

UberJew posted:Even easier is just buy a whole bunch of empty flasks and head to one of the healing springs (3 in gran soren, 1 in bbi iirc) and fill up as many as you please and as they're group healing items you can just hand them out to pawns When I start out after getting to gran soren for the first time I'll do the witchwood quest then go back through that same pass where those bandits were and run between the bandits on the left and the chimera on the right. There's a healing spring against the mountains south of shadowfort that's surrounded by goblins and makes going from 15 to 25ish much much less painful, and then you can just kinda wander around after that. Drop a portcrystal there and you get free good healing items for the cost of a couple of ports and a stack of empty flasks. Spoilering exactly where the spring is in case you want to find it yourself
