I haven't played this game or know anything about it, so this shouldn't count as a spoiler, but what's the over-under on the Joker coming back to cackle at us once again?

That brings me to something: are the Riddler's broadcasts live? Does he add the audiovisual distortions personally, as a signature, or is it a function of the broadcast? And yeah, he's definitely just in sweats beneath that shirt.

It's a part of his skill set that's usually hard to visualize through the medium of comic books, so it tends to be an informed ability or some kind of Bat-deduction. "Robin! The shark was pulling my leg! That must mean..." - "Holy coincidence, Batman! Penguin's working with the Joker!" Superman is similarly "The Man Of Tomorrow", but that's been thrown out.

They won't have time for it. They need to squeeze all the universe-building Marvel's done since 2008 into a single movie.

I just like that the communicator Batman used to talk to Gordon in the car was called "Batphone". Like what Adam West had in his Lincoln Futura, with a direct link to... Commissioner Gordon! It all makes sense.

dscruffy1 posted:John Noble as Scarecrow talks about fear like DIablo talks about nephalem. BLAH BLAH BLAH NEPHALEM BLAH BLAH FEAR BLAH It's kind of his thing, to be fair. As the thread has said before, Jonathan Crane can make you terrified for your life just by talking calmly to you for a while (he is a trained psychologist, after all). That's probably what Rocksteady was going for, but alas, their writing wasn't up to snuff. Sometimes, the Scarecrow monologues hit, but not often enough. Nevermind that, he's playing second fiddle to Thomas Elliott (rich guy, can pay for both gadgets and a huge army, looks like Bruce, wants to be him, it makes sense). The tank fights look like they start to drag. Like Skrewtape said, it doesn't seem to be getting more fun, just more frustrating.

This is easily the best of the story DLC, remember the Harley Quinn DLC we saw earlier? The rest of the DLC campaigns are pretty much the same. I kinda liked the Harley Quinn DLC. It presented a different take on the same aesthetics without going overboard.

On the other hand, the characterization of Two-Face is pretty on-target. Obsessed with justice and fairness, but using duality and his coin as the method.

You can't have any other characters than Batman, they'd remove the focus from him. Which will not do. They're establishing who Jason was and how he was tortured. Batman will pull off the Knight's mask, and we will see the brand on his cheek. This will be a shocking twist.
