According to Sputnik News, yes, 99% of all Ukrainians are Banderist homonazis, and it's critically important to liberate the oppressed Russian minority by having the Red Army invade and annex most of Ukraine's territory.

It seems possible that it'll partially reverse itself once the German export economy racket collapses and the jobs dry up Apparently East German Länder are getting positive migration for the first time since the reunification, thanks in large part to Ossies going back there after a prolonged stay in the West, so perhaps the process has already begins. It's just a question about whether that phenomenon will continue beyond the border.

steinrokkan posted:It's not that neolibs don't want wages to rise, it's in their interest; the problem is that they want them to rise by magic / expect somebody else to cause the rise while they sit on their money hoard waiting for the economy to spring to life. No, because then if wages increase by magic (instead of being taken from oligarchs), you're increasing the monetary mass, aka inflation, and that results in a depreciation of the currency, making oligarchs less rich in the process. The consequences are the same as taxation. What you want is to increase the monetary mass in a way that only benefits those who have more money than they can spend. So wages have to remain stagnating. This way, currency doesn't depreciate, and money gets to remain what it's supposed to be (personal high-scores for the filthy rich) instead of some sort of half-assed value token allowing the average people to exchange goods, services, and labor through a unified economic system.

And I can't really come up with anything better than 'it's a huge coincidence' right now. Everyone's got a camera in their pocket nowadays, and while my aging smartphone is slow enough that whatever I want to film is generally over by the time the camera mode pops up, that's not necessarily the case for other people. Even in poor countries besieged by the US.

Accidental invasions (i.e.: a bunch of military folks got lost during an exercise and crossed a border unwittingly) happen from time to time. Switzerland "invaded" Lichtenstein at least three times in recent history, for example. Sometimes, accidental invasions even lead to accidental annexation, at least that happened when invading Canada.

Sekenr posted:and they themselves couldn't because it was technically Embassies and consulates are given extraterritoriality, which is an exemption from the host country's jurisdiction but not a grant of territory. The area remains the sovereign soil of the host country. The extraterritorial status of a diplomatic representation is not actually tied to the area where it is located but to the diplomatic personnel (the ambassador or consul and part of their staff), which extends to their workplace and residence. That's why an embassy can easily move from one building to another and there's no need for the two nations to sign treaties exchanging the territories.

Turkish people not impressed by disappointing lack of real genocide. AKP lost elections in Istanbul and Ankara. In Libya it's even worse, he was starting to ramp up and got Al Watiya Air Base struck in the night by unknown forces, destroying the air defenses here. Then Russia came in and put redlines on the objectives he wanted to seize. poo poo! Things are looking bad for 2022 presidential reelections of Sultan Recep I! How about Mavi Natan? Let's just declare all Greek islands and the sea around them is Turkish clay and drill for g--wait, France is siding with the Greeks and telling Erdie-boy to knock it off. Poor Erdogan just cannot get a break. All he wants is some defenseless people he can oppress a bit so as to win elections, why is that so much to ask? Hey, the Armenians. Right in his backyard. Westerners can't intervene there, their military is puny, it's time to help brotherly turkic brothers the Azeri deal with the Armenian problem for good. This is easy win. Let's start by bringing in a lot of shia-hating jihadists who'll be sure to definitely side with the Shia Azerbaijanis and then assault the heavily-defended plateau of the Artsakh republic!
