Large Testicles posted:betrayed by coffee this afternoon. my old man gave me a bag of some coffee the other day without really thinking about it and i just made a cup of it. it stinks like booze and tastes like it has a shot of whisky in it and i quit drinking like 2 months ago so it's triggering all sorts of poo poo in my head. just looked at the bag and it's some bourbon barrel poo poo Gross. Bin that poo poo and get some of the good stuff.

It'll happen to you one day as well, enjoy it while you can. Ya same. It's why I stick to a couple of coffees that I know don't bother me. If I venture out and experiment with some different coffees then I get wicked bad acid so I only do it once in a while.

Is the aeropress worth it? I see a lot of people in here talking about it but it looks like a french press to me so I don't really know what's so special about it.

Nobody Interesting posted:it's different to a french press in ways i'm not qualified to explain. i find it makes better coffee than a french press more consistently, but it's more fiddly because to get a full mug i have to do two grinds, two presses. Ah okay. Do you use the paper filters or the steel one?
