Wasn't there an article recently about how out of 1500 people who actually applied through the "correct" channels only about 30 have been accepted? The answer is the borders are closed unless you're coming from white countries.

all I know is that my mum can only get satellite, and she can't even download a 3MB file because it times out and cancels. She's supposed to be getting NBN satellite soon so I hope it actually works. Current regional internet is poo poo as it gets.

Isn't the best thing about Uber being able to order and pay for onew with your phone and you know how much it is up front? Also the GPS data so you know when they'll be there to pick you up? If taxi companies just got on board with that I don't see how Uber is any better really? disclaimer: I take one taxi every few years at best
