I'm watching some TYT clips and Cenk dreams up this insane scenario where Bernie runs as a third party candidate against Hillary, Trump, Cruz, and JESSE VENTURA! He admits it's a crazy scenario but "very possible." I kind of want the drugs these guys are taking.

I made two individual thoughts in that post, one was the Bernie one which was a direct response to TBW, and the other was just included because the visual of that guy taking Trump's mic in Chicago is a very pleasurable one for me. It was an allusion tying together both the Sanders conversation and Trump's craven cowardice but was itself independent as far as thoughts go Immortan was responding to only the Trump one. He did not engage the Sanders obituary writing session at all.

Immortan posted:Tell me how Trump can effectively attack Bernie's record like he could with Hillary's. Sanders is profoundly vulnerable from the left for the same reasons Trump is from the right - his only competition couldn't really hit him on that. Socialists are as popular in this country as Atheists and Muslims. Trump would make it a referrendum on Capitalism versus Communism and outside of ~15% of the voting population, Capitalism is still the preferred of the two. Add to that Sanders not being able to beat him over the head with word salad policy positions (as it's an attack he himself is weak to), and Sanders not being able to really count on any bloc outside of young white men and it's not a pretty picture for him I still think he beats Trump just because Trump is so profoundly unpopular, but 1) not without a shitload of help from the DNC and 2) it ain't a sure fire thing Epic High Five has issued a correction as of 08:05 on Apr 20, 2016 |

Just don't say Hillary's 'Presidency' is inevitable given the current amount of animosity towards corporate money in politics across the aisle during this election cycle. The bad part is how she couldn't foresee this even after a few years after Citizens United.

Yeah I think I'm familiar with that one hold on and yeah it turns out I'm still fighting against it" I'm actually more confident that she will stack the court to get it overturned than that Sanders will, and she'll probably astroturf a case to get expedited up to the SCOTUS just to ensure it happens Epic High Five has issued a correction as of 08:24 on Apr 20, 2016 |
