You can see where your graphics card would extend. The longer dimensions of the radiator should be oriented vertically, not horizontally. Or if its easier for you to understand it this way, the plastic ends of it should point up and down.

The rvz01-e is a slim-ish revision that will fit a full size psu while sacrificing your 3.5" and optical drives. However, you literally can't have a slim computer that takes an ATX power supply when the case is smaller in one dimension than ATX power supplies are.

The Silverstone designs are a bit old by now, some getting close to 5 years old. The 500W has the best reviews of the bunch and mine performs admirably. That said the Corsairs are new this year and should hopefully perform better. It really is surprising how polarizing goons are about products though. When I wrote the OP, the Corsairs were in short supply or ridiculously overpriced.

Now they just need to build a bigger one. Right now I have a C7 on a 65W 5775c, but it wasn't so great on a 4790K. A taller version would hopefully perform even better than the C7. The engine 27 is in a strange place market wise because people who generally have <70W CPU's usually use stock coolers. On top of that, people like to use the biggest coolers possible for the space they have, and the engine is very short which is not a common cut off point, even for SFF builds. So they should scale up to cover bigger TDPs even if it means a little more height, because almost every build can support it.

I was hoping there might be a log. I was going to try Furmark on it as-is and also with the case off and a box fan pointing at it to see if there is a change in behavior. Can you try swapping the PCI-Riser between Ravens? Can you swap other parts between systems to further isolate theproblem? Also, how are your temps looking? It ran all the tests fine, so my RAM looks okay. I pulled out the video card and switched to on-board video. It's actually working okay this way. So are the risers for the Silverstone Ravens a common issue? Is there a fairly simple, short stress I can run to expose problems with it more regularly? I'd like to be able to mess with it and tell if I made a difference. I haven't seen any complaints about the riser, but it's not out of the question. However, since you have/had more RVZ02's why don't you swap the riser and see if that fixes anything? If you swap the riser and there's no change, you know its not the riser, but the video card or the motheboard's PCI-E slot. If you don't have another riser to test it with, you can always pop the motherboard out of the case and run the video card straight to the motherboard. You kind of seem all over the place, trying to jump to conclusions. No one really monitors their PSU outputs, as we're not electrical engineers. You just have to do troubleshooting that isolate the potential problems. VulgarandStupid fucked around with this message at 21:35 on Dec 18, 2016 |

I would never say its a bad case, but things like cable management are mattering less and less these days with previously onboard components moving to the processor and, you know, no longer using horribly restrictive ribbon IDE cables. I just look at it and see a lot of wasted space in the top right, enough space to fit a PSU and then make the entire case shorter. In fact, that's what an M1 is.
