I've been trying to get better as Genji so I can counter Bastion and get some assassination in, but I just can't seem to wrap my head around how he plays. I slink around and plink people with my ninja stars. When I'm ready to take on Bastion or when someone is shooting me at medium range, I hit e and charge. After my e wears off, they kill me while I desperately try to eke out a little more damage.

Losing to good teams in Overwatch is kind of nice because there's so much to learn about playing well in this game. I gotta complain though. Today I got a gold medal for one objective kill when playing on the Attacking team in Numbani. As Lucio. What the absolute gently caress, everyone else?

So I hit go and walk out the door just in time to see the enemy finish delivering the payload. DEFEAT and a tiny chunk of xp. Good times. At least they're changing heroes.

Really the "Two teams of assholes" would fit better for two sides fighting to the death to escort a robotic film director, than Wiston's whole "Please come back and save world guys" pitch to an assortment of tragic heroes mixed in with the psychotic assholes. Haha that's a drat good point, and I wonder now if it's the real heart of the discussion. Blizzard has purposefully infused the game with a bunch of personality and built up a (kind of lovely) mythos behind the characters and settings that the game is built on. But then, after all that poo poo about heroes and family and how spiders don't have emotions, the characters grab their guns and go to work just like they do in TF2.
