i used to work for a tiny company that only had one teleconference number had a bunch of customers dial in for an operations update call in the middle of an emergency board call, that was awkward

we just recently adopted a new policy where you have to change your password every sixty day, it has to have at least eight characters and some numbers and some letters. the olds revolted it was glorious help desk has to go out and help people change and pick their passwords it's amazing so many post its with passwords

imagine if you will nine people in a conference room the senior manager who called the meeting has power point slides on her laptop, and would like said slides to be on the conference room screen five minutes is spent to change the screen's input to the laptop five more minutes were spent disconnecting the room's phone so the laptop could be plugged into the network so the senior manager could remote into the laptop from the boardroom's computer, two feet away, so the slides would be visible on the screen

once had an Iraq customer call me in the middle of my morning dump, happy to report I fixed his issue and got him to sign more business with us it was a hard push but we got a very firm commitment, made quite a splash
