Vault 22 in FNV was experimenting with various plants and plant growing stuff under similar auspices. Whether to breed plants for the reclamation of America or the colonization of an alien world. V22 wasn't even supposed to be that bad or anything, but complications from the experiment lead to the death of everyone inside it. This retcon is dumber than anything Beth has done to the franchise. IMHO. e:Like, it has resulted in fantastic vault setpieces and other good stuff, but the actual FO2 plot twist was always so stupid to me.

After an Arkane game booting this up feels quaint. The game could really do with better traversal options. Heavy object lifting and just better item manipulation would be nice too. Never mind a GLOO gun. Most of the heavy stuff is static I think, so that's probably out of the question. Idk about Arkane style climbing/hoisting. It would break the level design in some areas, and look bad in third person without new animations, but I'm guessing it's doable. Maybe I should try a jet pack mod.

Does anyone know if three's a way to get the FallUI sorter to work with modded content? The subcategory folders are very nice. And I'm surprised that I can't find a mod that speeds up/removes the workbench animations.
