Those pyrate engineers sure were something. Quite a bit of in-game commentary drawing attention to the implausibility of their constructions. Just winking at the audience, or foreshadowing that Avery had help from ANCIENT ALIENS?

I will be very surprised if Sam dies. Doesn't seem in line with the tone of the Uncharted series. Sully was tripping death flags all over the place last time and he made it out.
