Hawks looked bad and Wilson got hurt and we have no experienced backup because there aren't any good ones (sam bradford lmao) so we'll be lucky to make the playoffs, as I said last year.

This is not an endearing stance to take. The Rams must be punished and a fire and brimstone spin on the once-popular "Parmesan Basil" persona would be much more interesting. Have god drat him to have every one of his douchey moustache hairs be dug out of his face by the root. JPP will be the surgeon.

I never want to miss a second of this Seahawks team. Didn't even think about turning off that Carolina playoff loss, and they almost came back. It's too rare for this city to have a team of any kind this good. I want to enjoy it while it's around. That being said, I can understand leaving early if you have kids or something. Not that I'd bring kids to an NFL game, but you get the idea. Some people just have different priorities.

there's always a few "we knew what plays they were gonna run before they ran them!" stories every year. I think it's usually just players overexaggerating - like, they're supposed to diagnose these plays before the snap, and if they do it right a bunch of times it must feel like they have the other team's number. and a team like the Rams doesn't have the most versatile set of receivers, they're probably limited in what they're able to do in any given alignment. and they never really give specifics or go into detail about how they know, it's always just mentioned in passing. obviously if it's a situation like Chip Kelly only running 6 plays per game, or you have a player that used to be on the other team calling out plays from the sideline, that's different, but I don't know how much I buy into that narrative. I think it just means they guessed right

Chris Brown did a great writeup on Kelly's offense and how easy it was to identify plays about to be run based on personnel and positioning: https://theringer.com/chip-kelly-san-francisco-49ers-offense-f332f053870e#.70lsbzig4 Grittybeard posted:And OC for a year if I remember right. I'm on the fence about him as an Oline coach--on the one hand, the Cowboys' line is great. On the other hand, there's a lot of talent there so it's hard to tell how much of that is Oline coaching.
