In the last issue of Squirrel Girl, they show her 5th birthday party where she dresses as Iron Man Dressed as Spider-Man So She Has Both Of Their Powers. So Spider-Man has canonically been active for at least 15 years!

Yeah I know, but Quesada had a really weird issue with seeing the character grow up in any way, and basically made it his mission to un-marry him and make sure he never has a kid and keep him swingin' and single and remove all references to him being older than early 20s. His reasoning was that if we keep having the character grow up, eventually he'll be senile and in diapers and who wants to read that?

Incidentally, Spider-man Reign was published during Joe Quesada's tenure as editor-in-chief and features a senile old spider-man swinging around in his old man underwear.

This is sadly almost certainly the case. Smiling Stan's ghostwriter, however, has been hitting it out of the park.

I like that the writer's idea of a space-sounding term is "news-a-gram". He's probably going for hologram, but it just sounds like news you get via telegram.

I'm going to assume, unless proven otherwise, that Rocket knows drat well what a raccoon is and has been trying to get a rise out of Peter the whole time. Since Peter's refused to take the bait, though, he's acting out in other ways (yeah sure he thinks he can take the hotel TV with him) until he gets Spidey to snap.

He's in for a long wait, because if there's one thing Newspaper Spider-man can do, it's take his lumps, forever.

Nah, they had their own imprint. Basically these really religious people asked if they could use Archie characters for their religious popaganda, and the boss of Archie comics at the time said "Sure!" so it resulted in:

What extra sucks is there was really no way from the covers to know you were buying propaganda for yourself or your kids.

To make a Marvel Legends figure of Newspaper Spider-man, you just take a regular Spider-man figure, color it slightly wrong, and add a brick bouncing off his head.

I own it but never finished the game. Is it any good?

It's impressive for the time and did a genuine effort of showing all of Spider-man's abilities instead of being a lovely generic 2D platformer like a lot of his earlier games, but it's kinda hard to go back to now. I liked how Stan Lee narrated the game and the gallery, and it was really neat how it had unlockable costumes that had special gameplay properties.
