If it were actually transferring minds to an actual parallel world, the concept feels more alien and thus I'm more willing to buy the contrivance. We probably shouldn't think about how the framework functions too hard or it just won't make any sense as to why Aida doesn't catch / kill them instantly.

So what would be stopping Aida from resetting the world and removing Daisy's terrigen powers again? She made it seem like it would be pretty easy to do when talking about bring Lincoln(Iol) back. I hope Aida was smart enough to have thought of this and Daisy's powers are something new and completely useless. If he didn't believe they were robots, why would you hang around the base when some horrible thing is killing your men? Something so terrifying that even the SHIELD team is spooked. That whole scene was stupid. So how is Mack not brain dead? Seems like Aida just grabbed him and teleported to the zephyr. Aida going from 0 to super scorned rampage was hilarious. Fitz you hosed up again.
