Wait Farange is coaching Trump now? I thought it was Christie? And it's not "coaching" that Trump needs, it's to literally be a completely different person.

I still genuinely don't believe that Trump can do any debate prep or be coached because doing so requires recognition of his own faults. He's basically just finding celebrities to practice zingers with instead of schlubs like before.

The currently ongoing bubble is a global housing bubble being driven largely by China. The US is actually pretty insulated from this but countries like Canada and Australia are going to be increasingly hosed as China grinds to a halt.

FactsAreUseless posted:Can you expand on this? What does China's housing market look like? I'm oversimplifying a whole lot but property is insanely expensive for a country whose per-capita GDP is like 90th in the world and whose average yearly income is around $5000, in part because it's considered a "safe" place to get money and assets because of a prevailing assumption that prices will only ever grow. The government tacitly encourages this because it keeps GDP growth looking higher than it actually is and because they think that they can control the bubble. Also because they are still pouring free credit into the economy in an effort to prop up growth and people are using that to take out easy cheap loans and buying houses with them. Countries like Canada and Australia are affected because they are extremely popular destinations for wealthy Chinese to park assets due to their role as not-being-China and also I think Commonwealth, which means they're easier to access if you go through Hong Kong. I should also point out that in China you're seeing banks take out loans from other banks to pay down debt that they already have from other banks, ie the exact same sort of financial Human Centipede you saw in the US before the Lehman collapse
