edit:

Browsing through the team rosters and stats, it feels like this season has more players going bananas than usual.

CP3's advanced stats are nuts right now. Through 9 games, he's leading the league in PER, DRtg, DWS, WS, WS/48, DBPM, and BPM.

Who are some of the best athletes (not players or skilled individuals, just strictly athletes) of the last 20 years or so? Off the top of my head I can think of Vince, LaVine, Aaron Gordon, Gerald Green.

Imagine four balls being inbounded on the edge of a cliff. Say a direct copy of the ball nearest the cliff is tipped by Cousins to the back of the line of balls and takes the place of the first ball. The formerly first ball becomes the second, the second becomes the third, and the fourth falls off the cliff.

Hah the 67-68 season where Wilt decided to lead the league in assists.

Yet another Wilt-based asterisk because he would have had more than 31 if the league recorded blocks (didn't start til '74?).

Wouldn't be surprised if Bill Russell had a few quad doubles neither

The guy who runs the Wilt Archive on Youtube looked at unofficial records of Wilt's blocks and figured he probably would have had at least 120 triple doubles if they were recorded at the time.

Wilt's the only guy to ever record a double triple double (20-20-20), he definitely had several quads, and I've even read that he had a quintuple one time during the 1968 season.
