Now I'm really wishing Bethesda had gone to the trouble to render bathrooms with toilet paper rolls hung differently in the few Chinese Communist areas in fallout 3 than from the rest of the game

I think my favorite dumb modder story is still the guy who applied absurd forced penalties to Hohmann transfer orbits in Kerbal Space Program because he hated what is actually the most efficient way to go between bodies in a solar system

I think he just thought they're boring and not cool I mean they are kind of, it's just calculating orbital energy differences between your start and end, timing your launch, then real quick burning enough fuel to give your ship whatever the energy difference is. No one really knows what the gently caress he's doing but he just sort of quietly does whatever it is and is apparently happy doing it.
