It added to the general joy and confusion. yeah chinese prefers two-character words more often than japanese does, but taxonomically speaking, both languages class all dense celestial objects as stars, including the one we're standing on (aka "land ball" in both languages)

On a positive note, I've been visited multiple times by cyber santa! Today I got a bunch of texts and notifications on steam oh what oh what could it beeeee?    holy moly I was worried I was going to have to go outside sometime soon! Thanks so much, bbt! "You can leave this with me Dad"  "Uhh, you can keep that one dad" It's like elf on a shelf, but "Annalee," 75 years and counting is what it says on the tag. Truly frightening and awesome  Hot cocoa mix!  bunny and sheepie cookie cutters!!  This funny calendar!  "Thanks!!" What an awesome package. There's a crazy japanese candy thing in here which requires I use my microwave to construct it, so I'll have a follow-up post here in a bit

the annalee doll is because YOU HAVE BEEN SENT THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS IN GBS PAST and now you must rehabilitate the spirit into a good byob citizen also because they are scary af and fun to hide in cabinets/bathrooms/closets/fridges to scare your spouse/children/friends/coworkers/etc and i do this with mannequin bits all over my house too.
