Just started the game, and with my initial free 11 summon I'm currently running exdeath, Kain, Garland, Terra, and chizuru. It probably isn't the most powerful team, and I actually have a couple 4 stars I could use (vanille and Mercedes), but those feel boring!

I awakened my first person ever, whee. Awakened ExDeath so that he could get the -aga spells. As much as it saddens me to consider it I think I may replace Terra in my current party with Vanille(who I have 2 of now).

In my one week of playing I have gotten 0 Sheras, either through my free 11 pull or my daily 1/2 pulls. I just got a bunch of Mercedes, Sevens and Ciniques.

It needs a lot of leveling up, but my new party consists of: Cecil, Noctics, Chizuru, Exdeath, and Refia. This seems like a much better composition.

I can currently only do PRO when a certain few goon whale friends are available to bring. Have one 800+ noctis, one 1000+ Olive, and one 800+ person on a chocobo who can close to solo it with minor help from my team. At 150k points so far though.

I always have my chizuru try to paralyze first to free up noctis to start other stuff earlier, and have exdeath imperil. The others just do their best to buff noctis, although I only have defensive buffs currently.

Well, that is kind of an abrupt block in the story. I've been relying on friends for boss battles, but ran into Veritas of the Heavens in Ambel, who you have to fight with no friends.. I'm honestly not sure what to do, I guess just grind levels? Running a party of Noctis, Cecil, Chizuru, Exdeath, and Refia, but the only one who I've awakened at all is exdeath up to 4*. Characters are in their mid 30s-40s, with the best equipment I can have at this point in the story without TMs. Am I just going to be spending a week grinding the beach for xp?

Hmmm. My Chizuru and Exdeath are both almost maxed 4*. Should I awaken them immediately and know I'm going to be spending a few days at least releveling them up to useful, or leave them at Max for a bit...

At this point my main concern from the ifrit event is that I won't get enough hide of the guardians to make both armor and weapon for y'shotla. I finally got my 5th today, which is enough for the armor, but I need a bunch more.

Just to rub a bit of salt in the wounds of you people who suck at RNGing, got my 2nd Y'shotla at 484 ifrit coin pulls. Also got everything from this players choice banner except Greg(RIP Greg) in 2 11 pulls and daily half price pulls. Saying this I know I won't get Orlandu, but I can hope!

How do I get the materials to awaken prince cup noodles to 6*? Even if I somehow managed to get enough Ifrit points to get all the awakening materials available I will still be short on Calamity Gems. And that is assuming I can get enough points for the prismatic horns, which I have serious doubts on. Are the 6* awakening mats only from events?

I should have enough lapis for a 10+1 this weekend. Do I go for Orlandeu, or do I go for the players choice to try and get Greg. Considering I have everything else from the player choice already I suppose that the Tactics one is probably better to draw on? So many hard decisions.

A 10+1 pull and 10 tickets later and no TG Cid. Sad. Not sure if I will get enough lapis for another 10+1 pull by the end of the banner, but am going to try! Main problem with that is I'm going to spend most of my energy on the event. Probably going to spend most of my energy this weekend on cactuar dunes though.

Sadly a lot of the goons on my friends list I was leaning on for Ifrit have switched over to units who are not useful for doing ifrit, so I am no longer able to get quite as much rank xp to speed up energy refreshes

Once I finish getting the awakening mats from the event for Noctis I have 10 metal gigantaurs waiting for him, and can get more from the cactuar dunes, so I should be able to do it much more reliably. Just need the energy for a few more event runs!
