I think the worst part of not getting an orlandeau today for me is just that I'm missing out on the 100% bonus from him in the event. This is my first event that I'm playing for the whole thing, and there are lots of things I need.

My dilemma right now is do I spend my energy on event runs, or do story missions to keep bringing in the lapis in hopes of doing another 10+1 pull during this banner. I guess the event has the potential to be able to get even more through rare summon tickets though. Finally have a 6* cup noodles thanks to the event, who is back up to level 57 through dumping 16 metal gigantaurs onto him so far today.

It'll get you an elite clear, guaranteed. Giving the invincible Lightning a run right now! After her first limit I think I see a tiny speck of black on his health!

This Lightning thing is amusing. Ifrit is down about 1/3 of his life. I needed time to regain energy and orbs for stuff anyways.

Is it possible to make Orlandeau immune to confusion? I'm getting rather annoyed at borrowed TG Cids getting confused by the boss in ELT and loving me over. This latest one was on a chocobo spawn run too.

I'm running 2 soleils, 1 Lawrence, Y'shtola, and my Noctis. The friend orlandeau is usually just short of killing him with a single divine retribution after being buffed with Link from Noctis.

The final boss of the event does seem to resist paralyze, so fire flask doesn't always work, but it does help a bit. I've dumped Y'shtola from the party and now have 2 soleils and 2 Lawrences with my Noctis and a friend Cid. It is kind of amusing that at this point the thing I want most out of ifrit coins is thancreds. I could still use a few more of his TMRs. I will say that this event has already done wonders for my main team. Noctis and Chizuru awakened to 6* and are back in their 50s-60s, exdeath and Y'shtola are max level 5* while I finish getting enough rest orbs for their awakening, just leaving Cecil at 5* for now. Hopefully eventually get the holy sword for Noct and the katana for Chizuru to boost their attack a bit since their are using crappy weapons currently.

I now have a party of 4 people at 6*(Noctis, Chizuru, exdeath, Y'shtola) and a single 5*. Not bad considering I've played the game less than a month and not spent any money on it. My equipment rather sucks and my only TMRs are from the ifrit event.

Occationally one will come out of it without a debilitating ailment, but on average it seems that one usually die to petrify, another will get paralyzed, and the last is either asleep, silenced, or confused. Now if only the chocobos would actually show up again for me. Didn't get a single Chocobo group yesterday, and not yet today either.

Xon is awesome for this event because of Waylay, mugging from all enemies at once is way better than doing it one at a time with Locke. Hope lots of goon-friends switch over to him as their companion. And gently caress Gumi for the return of event-character specific moogles.

Had no tickets and very little lapis going into this. Did my half price summon and then just ground away at story missions. Up to 2500 lapis, half way to a 11 summon to try and get something useful, whee. I'm sure I will end with 11 Bediles.
