If you want to fight with big stompy anime robots, Titanfall 2 is actually real good. Over the free weekend I was able to unlock all the robots. The Robots-only mode is made even better than it was in the first game due to having 6 different robots with more differentiation, rather than 3 robot types that could use any weapon and ability that just resulted in everyone being zippy dash core striders with charge lasers. It really does need to be 6v6 with picks and bans though. And the lack of recharging shields has really improved the no-respawn robot combat from the first game.

If you want to run around and shoot mans then I don't know if it's very good. But why would you want to do that? It's a robot game. Be robots. Shoot robots.

I think it is at least in part because the skullgirls devs at first were all about how the game was going to oversexualize everybody and include men who were going to have jiggle physics too but then I guess that was just an excuse or something idk, for all I know that could just be a false quote. Dunno why skullgirls is where I start getting iffy about that poo poo

It's because Skullgirls is an all (well mostly) female fighting game, and the tradition of those, from Vanguard Princess to Arcana Heart, is, well, skeezy.

Like NITROPLUS BLASTERZ HEROINEZ INFINITE DUEL is somehow one of the less skeezy all female fighting games, and that's saying something.

Shantae doesn't really make it's cheesecake fanservice really noticable until you play the 3D version. Then it's RIGHT IN YO FACE.

The touchpad d-pad mode is for playing shootmans games where the d-pad functions as a weapon switch. As you surmised, it is unsuited for actual platformers.
