That's why the IC podcast is so grating.

1 hour of content, 90 minutes of dithering about people who complain. Bonus "who moved the cheese" corp speak.

I've never listened to it. Do they actually spend a segment complaining about people who don't buy in 100%? Thats amazing.

uhhh you mean the coaxial mg? thats not used to confirm windage, its used for soft targets or saving main gun ammo. youre thinking of a spotting rifle, which is usually mounted on man or crew operated rocket launchers and cannon. it uses tracer rounds that are ballistically similar to the main gun round

the concept was briefly used by the british on their mbts post ww2, but eventually the range of main guns was far outstripping the range to which the tracer phosphorus would burn to, which made it kind of useless. so they just went to laser rangefinders instead

The rules for the tank give its heavy lascannon a to hit bonus if the stubber hits.

hahah those reviews are amazing. Defending m'Lady AoS.

Well I WAS going to look at this new game but it seems like you've fallen into the same trap as the rest of the industry instead of going the superior and not at all lovely AoS route. What a SHAME. I'm not mad you are.

On a less cute note, remember how one of the key complaints about Infinity was the sexism implicit in many of its sculpts?

And how poor, poor GW fans were always left behind, what with their company being more interested in the "ew cooties" pre-adolescent market?

Fortunately there are some cool and good third-party vendors ready and willing to help! :)

But as I was saying, only some absurd degenerate would even consider supporting a company like Corvus Belli.

Did you just post a load of models GW doesn't make to prove that GW is just as bad as Corvus Belli.

No, I think GW themselves are fairly OK for sexism in wargaming miniatures. Largely because of the lack of female representation, but the absence is better than a sufficiently bad presence.

And I do think that absence is because GW have long consciously aimed for a pre-sexual boy audience. The pornographic void that your Raging Heroes and your Kingdom Deaths and yes, to a degree, your Infinities are now pouring into exists because GW left that sweaty western otaku money on the table, when they could easily, easily have gone for it. And that is something I will give them kudos for.

We're good friend. Infinity bad.
