Obviously it's a prop. You're not supposed to think otherwise. You're seeing a magic trick. You know it's a magic trick. The mystery isn't whether or not it's a trick, it's how it was done. It doesn't help to know that the box is a prop, because of course it is. That's how magic tricks work. The question is, can you figure out how it works?
