I'm doing a presentation on NJPW at an anime convention next week. I'll be doing a PowerPoint covering 2016 and what will likely happen in 2017. My plan is to have about 45 minutes to show a match (or two). Some matches I have considered: Goto vs Shibata (WK 11) Naito vs Tanahashi (WK 11) Ospreay vs Ricochet (BotSJ) Omega vs Okada My issue with the last match is its long. I think having two shorter matches will make it more interesting because you'll get more variety. Any thoughts or other match recommendations?

Also unsurprisingly Everyone loved Ricochet and Ospreay but seemed a bit bored by Naito and Tanahashi.

I'm really surprised about the push of Shibata. I don't mind it because I thought Shibatas legend killer gimmick last year was great. I trust NJPW not to gently caress things up here, but I'm just surprised about his career trajectory especially with all the sext stuff coming out.

In the last 3 weeks I've purchased tickets for: WWE Raw (8th row floor) - $100 each UFC on Fox 24 (21st row, 100 level) - $142 each NXT (1st row) - $91 each Granted NJPW isn't on the level that those promotions are, but still $150 for front row of a special event like that is not bad imho.

I know that bigger starts losing is a thing. Okada lost in his opening G1 match. I guess it's early to be worried about Kushida losing 1 match. I was also surprised Dragon Lee won. He's had 2 great matches with Takahashi so I'm not complaining about a rubber match.
