I've been looking for a new talk-only phone, and this one totally looks like it fit the bill; dumbphone, quad band, dual sim, big battery, water/dust resistant, and isn't extremely thick/big. Though I admit I found it on amazon for an extra $9ish so I wouldn't have to wait the 20+ days x (Yes, I've had other randomly-branded chinese phones and their OSs don't bother me)

Trip report: that phone I found is in fact not waterproof; the ports are wide open, there are no gaskets anywhere, and the manual and warranty warn against contact with liquids. Since that was the main selling point and I don't want one of those jumbo "survival" balls of orange rubber, I'll just stick with my current zte dumbphone and its qwerty keyboard. Also, its A2DP didn't work, so the bluetooth music sounded like rear end coming through the phone audio protocol. Weird, since it's the first chinese phone I've had that didn't do that well

Don't be too disheartened at least. The phone's construction was solid, the OS wasn't nearly as broken as some other chinese phones I've gotten in the past, the antenna had great reception, and I didn't have any problems with the speaker/mic. I'm sure yours will work perfectly well as an emergency/backup phone in the worst case, I was just specifically looking for waterproof this time around

Define fitness watch. If something with an optical heart sensor, don't bother - they're inaccurate, especially when your wrist is damp (say, from sweat)

It's essentially a $30 android tablet without a battery and no need for case miniaturization. The screen's bound to be a standard size low quality one, and the processors/components are made in such bulk that they probably just cost pennies at this point
